Marie delivers soothing rifts and inspirational lyrics with a jazzy feel.

Throughout her college years, she continued to sing with the Gospel Choir at various events, gaining recognition for her vocal rifts and soothing tone. In 1999, shortly after being baptized, Marie began her journey of writing inspirational lyrics.

Marie started writing songs that combined inspirational lyrics with a jazzy feel. Her goal is to create an environment where seasoned Christians can enjoy great music and extend their social life beyond the walls of the church.

Marie Ginefanyi, a Washington DC native with roots from Sierra Leone, West Africa, draws inspiration from music artists such as Anita Baker, Sade, Mahalia Jackson, and Lena Horne. Her passion for gospel music blossomed when she joined her high school Gospel choir.
